In the Dutch consultation hour at DUS Orthopaedics & Trauma Surgery, you can find out everything you want and need to know about endoprostheses or an arthroscopy. You will be thoroughly examined and advised by our Dutch specialist if you have any complaints. They are understood and examined in a targeted way so that the best possible treatment can be started.

Alain Dalemans is a specialist in orthopaedics and trauma surgery. He has been working as an orthopaedic surgeon for a good ten years and has been able to gain international experience both in Germany and the Netherlands. He is also an expert in radiation protection and can use X-ray diagnostics to find out whether they suffer from arthritis, for example.

From orthopaedics to surgery

Alain Daleman’s areas of expertise include arthroplasty of the hip or knee, as well as shoulder and knee arthroscopy. These procedures are usually minimally invasive operations. If you suffer from permanent pain due to an accident or arthritis in the knee, hip or ankle joint, our Dutch specialist can explain the treatment of a cartilage transplant in your native language and guide you through the entire treatment with his expertise as an orthopaedic surgeon. Every step of the treatment and all the risks and chances of success are explained to you in the Dutch consultation.

You are also welcome to come to Alain Dalemans’ Dutch consultation for spinal therapy for back pain. Treatments such as cruciate ligament surgery are also a possibility if you have injured yourself while travelling or playing sports.
An alternative to surgery can also be the so-called autologous blood therapy (PRP, BCS). Especially in the case of sports injuries, this can accelerate healing. Depending on the findings, this may be a good option for you if you are not permanently in Germany or have to leave soon.
